This website is dedicated to documenting my restoration of a 1940 Chevrolet Pickup.  It is designed to help me keep track of all of the details as I progress with this project, and also to communicate with friends and family on what I've been up to with the project.

I purchased the truck on eBay from a guy in Truth or Consequences, NM. He was selling it for a friend on consignment. He was very helpful with the transaction. This was the first purchase that I had completed on eBay and he made it easy.

I've decided to name the truck Dixie, just to give it a name. The buttons at the top in the Flash file provide links to see the progress of the restoration project.
